Job Description

One of Hawaii’s leading agricultural and industrial products distributor has an opening at their Hilo location.

 

The Receptionist / Customer Service Representative will be responsible for ensuring that every customer who comes through their doors has a positive experience. The company has an extensive product line so it’s imperative that this individual be able to provide accurate, timely, and professional customer support.

Additional Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist customers in person and over the phone.
  • Answer questions regarding product pricing, deliveries, or will call requirements.
  • Log delivery requirements, quantities, and times.
  • Provide customers with accurate product information, including technical and safety information.
  • Research, and resolve delivery or invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Correctly credit and rebill customer accounts as necessary.
  • Respond to any customer complaints or problems in a professional manner.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory.
  • Perform other duties as required. 

 

Required Education and Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 1-2 years of office and/or sales experience required.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to deliver top-notch customer service.
  • Must be familiar with general office procedures.
  • Computer-savvy with good data entry and typing skills.
