Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provides Tier 1 and higher, system support for REHAB IT systems and serves as the liaison between the Information Technology Department and the users of REHAB's Hospital Information System.


EDUCATION:

Bachelor's depress or equivalent combination education and/or related work experience.


SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of one (1) year of general computer experience.

 

DUTIES:

Develops, implements, administers, and modifies programs to maintain and improve the information services of the hospital. Researches the purchasing of IT solutions and makes recommendations in the best interest of REHAB. Consults with and works with staff to investigate, resolve and correct problems that may arise. Communicates with, provides updates to and follows-up with staff and department managers/supervisors as appropriate, on the status of tasks, services, projects, etc. Analyzes, evaluates, recommends, plans, and implements functional IT solutions to meet the system users' requirements Provides an efficient and reliable automated service to user departments through the generation, implementation, and maintenance of the functional application components that make up the Hospital Information System.
