Job Description

Large insurance company is seeking an individual to provide Customer Service support to its clients. This a full-time opportunity in the Hawaii Kai area.  


In order to succeed in this position, you should have great people skills and be able to deliver a high level of customer service. You must be comfortable speaking to clients in person and over the phone. This position will rely on your ability to follow up with clients in a timely manner and problem solve on the spot. 


Though previous insurance experience is not required, you must have a desire to learn the industry and eventually obtain your Property & Casualty license. 


Additio​nal Responsibilities:


  • Work with clients to renew and explain insurance policies.
  • Prepare insurance cards, certificates of insurance, and financing of premiums.
  • Address inquiries regarding policies, accounts, or issues.
  • Compile, research, and organize insurance claims.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and policy requests.
  • Compose correspondence to providers and process payments.


Required Education and Qualifications:


  • Must have previous customer service experience.
  • Enjoy working with others and comfortable speaking to clients of all levels.
  • Good at problem solving and decision making.
  • Great at managing detail-oriented tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Able to work well with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license preferred but not required.
