Roberts Hawaii is looking to hire a Full-time Staffing Coordinator at our School Bus Division!


Position Summary:
The School Bus Staffing Coordinator (SB Staffing Coordinator) reports to the Director of School Bus - Statewide, with a dotted line relationship with HR Management for HR practices and protocol compliance. The SB Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and administering support of School Bus recruitment demands and activities including the applicant intake and onboarding. The incumbent's responsibilities include - but are not exclusive to, handling recruitment and new hire employment activities which involve heavy administrative tasks that must be performed in adherence with overarching applicable employment laws and regulations, applicable industry and DOE regulatory requirements, and in accordance with applicable Roberts Hawaii policies and procedures. The Coordinator has partial responsibility in the areas of recruiting and staffing logistics, applicant/employee recordkeeping - maintaining employee files to ensure accuracy of documentation, upload of relevant information specific to SB databases, and upload / transfer of information necessary to be maintain official personnel records with Corporate HR; shall initiate new hire file for SB employees in support of filing systems related to employment of SB personnel that are then housed in Corporate HR; shall support company-wide SB event facilitation and participation (e.g. job fairs), and assist with SB performance management records and tracking systems. The SB Staffing Coordinator may assist with the implementation of services, policies, procedures, and programs issued through, in adherence with, and as prescribed by, Corporate HR Management or designated HR SMEs.

In these ways, the SB Staffing Coordinator contributes to the accomplishment of HR practices and objectives that aim at providing SB with an employee-oriented, high-performance culture with emphasis on quality, productivity and the ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor' degree in business administration or management, human resources management, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment or employment. Directly relevant experience of greater than a year will be considered.
• Equivalencies like Associates degree, some HR training, and 3 years of directly relevant experience will be considered.
• Operates with fidelity and veracity.
• Skilled in the use of computers, easily adapts to new technology, uses computers to improve productivity
