POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Human Resources Coordinator- Recruitment & Employment (HRC- Recruitment) is responsible for the daily duties in relationship to the recruitment and placement of applicants, onboarding new employees, creating and managing new employee records, and providing quality assurance and employee customer service.

KEY SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Position Specific Duties:
  • Responsible for recruitment and placement of employees ensuring selections meet federal programs’ requirements and in accordance with organizational needs.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with applicant referral agencies and organizations.
  • Manage job postings, working with managers on posting quality and content, posting job vacancies with appropriate recruiting sources, and making recommendations to managers of additional recruiting resources.
  • Responsible for verifying applicants have required credentials, verifications, and background checks prior to setting them up to start employment.
  • Prepares onboarding packet for new employee and schedules onboarding meetings as appropriate.
  • Identify, coordinate, and attend job fairs and hiring events for the recruitment of employees and the marketing of the organization as a whole.
 
Financial:
  • Ensures accurate reporting of expenditures, activities, and statistical data for recruitment and employment.
Human Resources/Supervisory:
  • Supervises HR Administrative Assistant; plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to recruitment, employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.

Job Requirements

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Required:
  • Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years’ experience in human resources related field
  • Clearances/Certification: 1) TB clearance; 2) Criminal Background Check; 3) Child Protective Service/Adult Protective Service check; 4) Must maintain valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract (level 2 driver)
Preferred:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in human resources related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in human resources related field
