Job Description

Highly organized and analytical individual is needed to fill this immediate temporary opening for a Payroll and Accounting Clerk. For this role, you will be responsible for payroll and accounting duties as well as supporting the finance, administration, and human resources departments. 

 

This is not an entry-level position so we are looking for someone with at least three years of experience in the industry. If you meet all the requirements listed below, we highly encourage you to apply!

 

Additional Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare, check, and distribute payroll
  • Create and review payroll and benefits reports
  • Process accounts payable and disbursements
  • Handle Accounts receivable and cash receipts
  • Manage bank deposits
  • Monitor daily cash balance
  • Maintain financial records and files
  • Advise CFO on pending fiscal issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Required Education and Qualifications:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping
  • Minimum three years of experience in payroll processing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Word, and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or administration
  • Knowledge of Ceridian HPL
