Job Description

We're looking for someone who is organized and likes working with people to fill a Rental Coordinator position. This full-time temporary position in Honolulu will task you with assisting in the management of short-term rental equipment from a well-known construction equipment company.

Additio​nal Responsibilities:

 

  • Quote rental rates for customers 
  • Explain terms and conditions of rentals to customers
  • Prepare agreements, insurance forms, and invoices 
  • Arrange the delivery and/or pickup of equipment 
  • Log daily activities 
  • Collect cash from customers
  • Check for damage to rentals and coordinate servicing
  • Advise and bill the customer for repair costs
  • Gather rental activity information and generate reports
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Inform managers of important matters
  • Submit lost rental reports
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures

 

Required Education and Qualifications:

 

  • Relevant work experience 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Hawaii driver's license
  • Familiarity with working with a PC and AS400

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Background in the construction industry
