Job Description
  • Run the kitchen
  • Provides instruction and training to cooks and kitchen staff
  • Communicate with AM sous chef to troubleshoot problems and delegate work load
  • Order produce and dry goods for the next day.
  • Some prep for lunch/dinner service (i.e. braises, sauces, soups etc.)
  • Assess catering orders and produce them accordingly
  • Get ready for lunch service, catering, and farmers market
  • Assess AM sous chefs inventory (food, dry goods, cleaning supplies) and order at the end of the night
  • Clean the kitchen and refrigerators/storage
  • Work with chef on daily specials
  • At the end of the night, leave a prep list with AM sous chef
  • 2+ Years culinary background
  • 2+ Years leadership experience
