Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Systems Analyst II (O365/Azure) is responsible for managing and overseeing the organization’s Office 365 and Azure environments. This role involves ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of cloud services and infrastructure. This position will also handle level 2 and 3 service ticket items. The Systems Analyst II supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization, upholds, and enforces the guidelines and policies of the organization, and demonstrates Lanakila Pacific’s values of teamwork, excellence, achievement, and motivation in all personal interactions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cloud Services Management:

  • Administer and support the organization’s O365 and Azure platforms, including SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Teams, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot level 2 and level 3 incidents related to O365 and Azure services.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.

Cybersecurity Collaboration:

  • Partner with outsourced cybersecurity teams to ensure the organization’s cloud environments are secure against threats.
  • Coordinate with external experts to develop and implement security strategies for O365 and Azure services.

Risk Management:

  • Work alongside outsourced cybersecurity specialists to conduct risk assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

Incident Response:

  • Collaborate with outsourced cybersecurity providers for prompt and effective response to security incidents, including level 2 and level 3 security alerts.

Access Control:

  • Manage user access in conjunction with outsourced cybersecurity teams, ensuring only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data and services.

Policy Enforcement:

  • Enforce security policies and procedures, developed in collaboration with outsourced cybersecurity, to maintain a secure and compliant cloud environment.

System Maintenance & Upgrades:

  • Regularly evaluate and perform necessary stem upgrades and maintenance tasks to ensure the integrity and advancement of cloud services.
  • Coordinate level 2 and level 3 system updated and patches.
  • Utilize Intune for device management including enrollment, configuration, and compliance, operating system, and application updates.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with IT team members and end-users to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and promote the effective use of O365/Azure services.
  • Assist with level 2 and level 3 user inquiries related to O365 applications and Azure resources.

 

Other Duties:

  • Demonstrates a willingness to gain and possess thorough knowledge of Lanakila Pacific's programs and seek ongoing educational opportunities related to the position.
  • Provides support to other departments as needed.
  • Performs other reasonably related business duties as assigned, including but not limited to program promotion, representing the organization at events, and fundraising activities.
  • Completes training as mandated by organizational policy.

 

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

Competencies: 

  • Technical Expertise:
    • o Proficiency in managing O365 and Azure environments, including the Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Azure Active Directory.
    • o Ability to handle level 2 and level 3 technical escalations.
    • o Experience with Power Apps/Power Automate is a plus.
  • Problem Solving Skills:
    • o Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
    • o Escalate complex problems to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Communication:
    • o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • o Explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Project Management:
  • o Experience in managing IT projects, with a focus on cloud services implementation and migration.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Required:

  • Education:
    • o Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Or High School/GED diploma with three years' experience in a related field.
    • o Relevant certifications in O365 and Azure are highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • o A minimum of three years administering O365 and Azure environments.
    • o Familiarity with level 2 and level 3 support processes.
  • Clearance/Certification: 1) TB clearance, 2) Criminal background check, 3) Pre-employment drug testing, 4) Child Protective Services/Adult Protective check, 5) Military Base access (obtained on the job)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
WORKING CONDITIONS/HOURS:
    • Monday through Friday, normal business hours 7:30 am – 4:30 pm. Hours and work days, including weekends and holidays, may vary due to operational needs and contract requirements. Indoors, office setting and telework available, occasionally outdoors; may travel to see employees, other program sites, meeting sites, etc., as required.
