Warehouse Forklift Operator

Assists the Warehouse Associate with receiving storage and distribution of all the items received from suppliers andProduction. Help to ensure that raw materials, supplies and finished products are distributed to the proper locations inan effective and efficient manner to satisfy both customer and production requirements. Track the movement ofsupplies and ingredients throughout the facility. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

•  Receive incoming dry supplies and ingredients. 
• Ensure that incoming products are accurate and acceptable for use. 
• Ensure that both incoming (receiving) and outgoing paperwork are filled out completely and accurately. 
• Put away supplies in their proper place and ensure that the warehouse(s) are clean and well organized. 
• Maintains all equipment necessary to accomplish the warehouse and receiving objectives in a safe andeffective manner. 
• Assist in taking reoccurring inventory of both supplies and finished goods. 
• Report any non-conformances, safety,and/or mechanical issues to the Production Manager. 
• Assist in tracking inventory and lot number (FIFO) for all supplies and finished goods. 

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

• High School Diploma or GED required. 
• Good attention to detail. 
• Able to stand for extended periods of time. 
• Work cleanly and efficiently. 
• Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. 
• Forklift/Pallet Jack Certified or capable of becoming certified. 
• Good with numbers (counting). 
• Speaks and understands English conversation. 
• Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships. 
• Excellent attendance.  
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments. 
• Comfortable using electronic equipment (scan gun). 
• Other duties as assigned.
