Job Description

Locally Owned & Operated! Kilauea Pest Control is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to assist our company with administrative responsibilities and bookkeeping. Approximately 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred
  • Two years of sales/customer service, administrative, and/or bookkeeping experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales- Utilize training to answer phone/email leads and provide excellent customer service
  • General administrative and clerical support to the service staff
  • Maintain electronic record keeping and customer records with precision and accuracy
  • Simple bookkeeping/data entry, invoicing, scheduling
  • Collections- Make customer service and reminder calls
  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • Assist with projects, proposal writing, contract completion and other duties as assigned


  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Sales and customer service driven
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
  • Advanced Word, Excel, Quickbooks skills
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
  • Professional telephone etiquette and electronic correspondence etiquette

$10-$12/ hr depending on pest industry experience
