Job Description

 

The primary responsibility is to qualify and book inquiries into vacation rentals. This position reports to the Sales Manager, requires working from home and is entirely commission based.

 

  • Working within a commission based sales environment, telesales, lead qualification, product up selling.

  • Processing 20 to 30 inquiries a day to find them the most ideal vacation rental that matches their requirements.

  • Outbound calling (40 to 50 calls per day) to inquiries and vendors.

  • Abillity to grasp technology service solutions and maintain an understanding of our marketplace including competitors

  • Abillity to use a web based IP phone systemrn

  • Excellent and professional qualification and follow up on leads from web site, advertising and social media

  • Ability to manage existing customers and assist sales manager in responding to customer requests

  • Answer incoming calls and emails and complete travel arrangements for clients while ensuring the use of correct processes and procedures

  • Reach monthly sales targets while driving exceptional customer service KPI’s

  • Listen and ask the right questions to discover the needs of each individual traveler

  • Perform at all times with the aspiration to provide a trip of a lifetime

  • Maintain detailed and accurate notes in the Salesforce CRM for successful transition to the Customer Service team

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • 2+ years sales experience, motivated by revenue targets
  • Ability to work successfully from home
  • Proven success driving sales through a disciplined process
  • Passion for travel and travel knowledge of Hawaii
  • Call center experience highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, stay organized and manage time in a fast-paced setting
  • Problem solving and complaint resolution skills
  • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends required
  • Flexible with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience of different reservation systems and CRMs
  • Positive can-do attitude with a natural ability to be inspirational
  • Minimum of 1-year sales experience in the Vacation Rental industry.
  • Expert on local vacation market including attractions, restaurants, activities etc.

  • A desire to be an Independent Contractor and have your compensation directly tied to your ability to sell
