The Board of Water Supply (BWS) is a semi-autonomous agency of the City and County of Honolulu that serves more than 170,000 customers on the island of Oahu.

Our vision, Ka Wai Ola (“Water for Life”), captures the role and responsibility the BWS holds as the steward of Oahu’s natural drinking water resources.  Our mission -- to provide safe, dependable, and affordable water now and into the future -- is at the core of all that we do. Every BWS employee has an important role in maintaining the sustainability of our water resources and water system and providing our customers with high quality water and excellent service.
