ABOUT ALOHA TERMITE & PEST CONTROL

 

Shawn Murray founded Aloha Termite & Pest Control, Inc. in 1999, but his experience in the pest control industry dates back to 1975 when he began as a helper with another locally-owned company at the time. As Shawn’s experience and knowledge grew in the industry, so did his exceptional reputation. In the 1980s, Shawn was well known in Hawaii and California for his keen ability to tent-fumigate even the most challenging of structures. Aloha Termite & Pest Control, Inc. has successfully fumigated some of the largest buildings in Hawaii (e.g., Sacred Hearts Academy and numerous government buildings totaling over four million cubic feet). The Company has also fumigated some historic sites like the Kaahumanu and Holy Ghost churches on Maui.

Shawn is well aware that the company’s success has only been possible due to an outstanding staff of clerical support, technicians, fumigators, and sales people. Many of the Aloha Termite & Pest Control, Inc. staff have been with Shawn since the inception of the business, and continue to be a part of the company’s accomplishments. Aloha Termite & Pest Control, Inc. personnel are trained, licensed, and ready to service pest needs with Service with Aloha.

In August 2020, Shawn Murray decided it was time to retire. Shawn remains on with the company as a consultant, but cannot be any more delighted to announce that Aloha Termite & Pest Control, Inc. is merging with – none other – Aloha Termite Kauai, Inc. (dba Aloha Pest Solutions and dba AccuPest)! The President of Aloha Termite Kauai, Inc. – Jonathan (Jon) Montalbo – began his career in the pest control industry 21 years ago with Shawn Murray. Jon is just as thrilled as Shawn about taking over the operations of Aloha Termite & Pest Control, Inc. In addition to the current staff of Aloha Termite & Pest Control, Inc., Jon brings additional personnel with equaled skills, licenses, and aloha to continue providing unsurpassed service to all our customers and communities.
