RESORT POOL LIFEGUARD/SLIDE OPERATOR

·       Willingness to accept the most effective role

·       Respond quickly, intelligently, decisively and in accordance with established emergency management procedures

·       Respond to emergency situations in assigned zone.  Assists in communicating emergency situations outside of assigned zone

·       Abide by grooming standards set forth by JEM and the facility

·       Identify potential hazards and advise management of unsafe and/or unsanitary conditions

·       Be alert to prevent accidents

·       Follow established schedule

·       Enforce the rules and regulations

·       Ensure the cleanliness of the entire facility, both Front and Back of House

·       Perform daily routine chores and maintenance of the facility to ensure a neat and orderly appearance, including the cleaning of decks and guard shack

·       Possess a general knowledge of pools, rides, and attraction operations

·       Greet guests and provide information about the facility for those who need assistance

·       Assist guests in a polite and expedient manner

·       Handle and communicate daily with guests on a one-on-one basis in a professional, courteous manner

·       Demonstrate ability to provide care, sensitive consideration, and efficient service to guests

·       Maintain a businesslike atmosphere in both Front of House and Back of House areas of the park

·       Perform other duties as assigned by senior management

·       Demonstrate good oral communication skills

·       Completion of appropriate reports

·       Attend regular in-service trainings as required

·       Work nights, evenings, weekends and/or holidays

·       Sit or stand for extended periods of time

·       Work in a humid, warm environment and be immersed in water for extended periods of time

·       Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs and up to 100 lbs. 

• Climb multiple flights of stairs
• Walk/Stand for a long period of time.
• Provide CPR/First Aid/Basic Life Support Skills
