Lili‘uokalani Trust (LT) is a private operating foundation founded in 1909, for the benefit of orphaned and destitute children with preference given to Native Hawaiian children.  The Trust serves approximately 10,000 children annually through direct services statewide, and reaches thousands more through collaborations with community partners.

 

 

SOCIAL WORKER / DIRECT SERVICES SPECIALIST (KONA)

Job Summary:
Provides professional casework/case management, as well as group work or direct development services.  Collaborates and partners with community to facilitate and coordinate the organization’s effort to fulfill the Queen’s mission to care for, and ensure the wellbeing of, the most vulnerable Native Hawaiian children and their ‘ohana.

Qualificatio​ns:

• Master’s degree in social work, human/social services, sociology or psychology, or other relevant social services field.  Undergraduate in related field with at least five (5) years of relevant experience will be considered.  

• At least one (1) year of experience in casework/management, group work or direct service related work.

• Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and valid no-fault insurance required.

• First Aid and CPR/AED certification preferred.
