Job Description

A local company is seeking detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will possess excellent multitasking abilities and strong communication skills to effectively manage a diverse range of administrative tasks. This is a temporary position with the intention to become permanent.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm and one additional Saturday per month.

Pay

$20 to $23 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team.
  • Enter and maintain daily progress records (DPRs).
  • Assist with processing incoming applicants and their paperwork.
  • Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, addressing inquiries professionally.
  • Assist with mailouts.
  • Organize and compile weekly reports of completed tasks.
  • Manage IMS drops, suspensions, reinstatements, and delinquent dues.
  • Prepare and coordinate membership meetings.
  • Assist with check-ins for various events or appointments.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and perform scanning duties.
  • Work one Saturday per month for half a day.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Professional demeanor and customer service orientation.
  • Flexibility to work one Saturday per month for half a day.
