Job Description

We're immediately looking for an Office Assistant for a full-time opening with a bank in Aiea.

This role performs a variety of clerical functions covering investment accounting, bank and general ledger reconciliation, fraud monitoring for BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and E-Banking purposes.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay

$35,000 to $39,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Perform reconciliation of all investment accounting general ledger accounts
  • Assist with reconciliation and research to clear items timely.
  • Assist BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) officer with handling Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering alerts.
  • Upload/Download all bank files through outside website
  • Upload/Download all files through the Fedline website
  • Assist E-Banking department with fraud monitoring through the FIS Payments One site.
  • Act as Backup with reconciling accounts, official checks, Bank accounts daily and monthly reports. Provide copy of all reconciliations to Corporate Accounting Dept at beginning of each month.
  • Other duties will be assigned directly by the Hawaii Office Manager, and indirectly by Chief Finance Officer
  • Comply with FDIC Regulation and BSA/AML requirements and complete monthly trainings.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, 1-3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
