IMMEDIATE HIRE FOR LINE COOKS AT GYOTAKU NIU VALLEY. MORNING OR NIGHT SHIFT, PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, TRAINING AVAILABLE.

Gyotaku Japanese Restaurants is now hiring for Line Cooks.  We offer competitive pay and paid training with opportunity for advancement.  Gyotaku Line Cooks have a light prep routine due to our central kitchen which prepare sauces, entree portions and other prep, fresh every day allowing them to focus on preparing great meals in a team environment. Line Cook Pay Grades (Plus approx $1 to $3 per hour in tips, depending on sales and shifts worked, higher tips on weekend shifts)
  • Cook III - Trainee through ability to work 1 station expertly $14 - $16/hr.
  • Cook II - Ability to work 2-3 stations expertly $16 - $18/hr.
  • Cook I - Ability to work 4 stations expertly $18 - $20/hr.
Daily Work Routine
  • Participate in and maintain a positive, professional, team oriented work environment.
  • Be focused on exceeding guest expectations of a great meal experience.
  • Production of prep recipes and menu items for guests according to production forms and recipe cards.
  • Maintaining an organized clean and sanitary work station.
  • Coordination of duties and products with the other kitchen stations.
  • Follow company, Serve Safe & State Dept of Health best practices for food safety & hygiene.
