A local employment administration company is seeking a Personnel Coordinator for their Aiea office to help process applicants by screening, interviewing, and reference checking candidates. Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay

$50,000 to $55,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Create and post job ads.
  • Source, screen and interview candidates.
  • Assess candidates? relevant skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Maintain accurate candidate notes as they move through the hiring process.
  • Talk to existing clients to receive job orders, review qualification criteria and salary and benefit information.
  • Determine candidate match for job-based skills and work experience.
  • Present job opportunities to candidates and upon agreement, present candidates to clients for consideration.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED).
  • Active listening skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage expectations from clients and candidates.
  • Ability to thrive and cooperate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
