Job Description

Looking for an entry level project manager for a construction company

Familiar with the construction industry

Independent willing to learn and be a team player

Able to communicate with vendors and general contractors

Manage projects, RFIs, Plans, Addendums, Change Orders, Coordinate with the workers



Knowledge of MS Office Products as well as PDF editing


Roles and Responsibilities


- Maintaining Electronic and Paper Filing systems - Documentation

- Maintaining Job Site Plans / Binders

- Prepare and Maintain Project Selection Specification Files

- Assist in performing daily/general duties

- General clerical duties including photocopying, mailing,

- Maintain office supply inventories on project sites

- Schedule and coordinate materials for projects

- Retrieve documents upon request

- Effectively organize your time, the office, and any tasks that are given

- Assist in the management of Project Schedules

- Become Familiar with Architectural drawings to assist Senior Project Manager with Construction Team Requests for Information (RFIs)

- Assist with scheduling and notifying stakeholders of deadlines.

-Attend pre-bid, job meetings, and site visits


Thoroughly review and familiarize with the Contract Documents using general accepted engineering principles and practices, to maintain Contract Requirements

Assist in the planning, organization, control and completion of the project requirements.

Inform of issues that may affect the project cost and schedule requirements.

Assist with coordinating subcontractor/vendor work. Assist project foreman with developing/submitting five-week short term schedule & manpower requirements.

Maintain & monitor RFI log.

Assist in soliciting subcontractors/vendors proposal for change order work.

Has previous experience working in the construction industry.

Has some familiarity with reading and comprehending plans and specifications for all aspects of a project (including but not limited to framing, plumbing, electrical, etc).

Assist with the procurement process, scheduling, and project management prior to and during construction.

Has the knowledge and ability to work independently and assist with forecasting and preventing any potential issues on the job. Be organized, self motivated and able to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously.

Has excellent communication skills and maintains professionalism while working with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and colleagues alike.
