IMMEDIATE HIRE FOR SUSHI MAKERS AT GYOTAKU NIU VALLEY. PART-TIME/FULL-TIME, AM/PM SHIFT, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, TRAINING AVAILABLE. Typical shifts at 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 9:30PM - 10:30PMGyotaku Japanese Restaurants is now hiring for Line Cooks and Sushi Makers. Gyotaku Line Cooks and Sushi Makers have a light prep routine due to our central kitchen which prepare sauces, entree portions and other prep, fresh every day allowing them to focus on preparing great meals in a team environment. Sushi Maker Pay Grades (Plus approx $1 to $3 per hour in tips, depending on sales and shifts worked, higher tips on weekend shifts)
- Sushi III - Trainee through ability to work maki rollling station expertly $14 - $17/hr.
- Sushi II - Ability to work maki and nigiri stations expertly $17 - $19/hr.
- Sushi I - Ability to work maki, nigiri, fish cutting stations expertly $19 - $24/hr.
Daily Work Routine
- Participate in and maintain a positive, professional, team oriented work environment.
- Be focused on exceeding guest expectations of a great meal experience.
- Production of prep recipes and menu items for guests according to production forms and recipe cards.
- Maintaining an organized clean and sanitary work station.
- Coordination of duties and products with the other kitchen stations.
- Follow company, Serve Safe & State Dept of Health best practices for food safety & hygiene.
