As a Nurse Practitioner at Kulana Malama, you play a crucial role in our healthcare team. Your responsibilities include evaluating and providing services to pediatric, young adult, and geriatric patients/residents in a medically fragile setting. Working closely with the admitting and attending physician, you will oversee all aspects of inpatient care, ensuring adherence to current rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Your daily routine will involve rounds and consultations with physicians, contributing to the culturally competent and age-appropriate care of our patients. This position requires a commitment to maintaining all necessary credentials and privileges, as well as effective communication with the patient's primary health care provider or assistance in establishing one.

Participate in outpatient and outreach clinics, collaborate within interdisciplinary teams, and embrace a progressively self-directed approach with minimal supervision. If your license permits, take on the responsibility of prescribing, initiating, and/or altering medications in accordance with education and management protocols. Accurate documentation of all treatments and services provided is a key aspect of this role.
