$4,447 monthly, commensuratew/ training and experience


Provide project coordination for the StrategicPreventionFramework(SPF) –Partnerships for Success(PFS) Project andfunctionas thestatewide coordinator forthe PFS project and SPF efforts, actively overseeing the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation ofthe

process thatthe stateand community stakeholders undertake in partnership tosupporttheState’s substance abuse prevention plan and toaddress underage drinking and its effects.  TheProject Coordinator is chargedwith overseeing day-to-day progress ofthe implementationand evaluation of grant related programs and activities andensuringthat all performance and reporting requirements are met satisfactorily.






EDUCATION:  Graduation from anaccredited four (4)yearcollege or university witha bachelor’s degree andmajor workin one ofthe behavioral sciences, social sciences, public health,or related field.


EXPERIENCE:One and one-half(1½ ) years of progressivelyresponsible general experience in social work, public health, community development,or other related fields which required knowledge of currentsocial and economic conditions,community organizations, andtheservices and/or programs they offer tothecommunity relative to alcohol and drugs and the prevention of substance abuse.


One and one-half(1½) yearsof specialized progressively responsible experiencewhich demonstratesthe ability to coordinate a collective group of agencies or groups, collaborate andconductstudies and/or analyses of programs or projects throughactive participationinthe planning,coordination, development, and/or evaluation ofprograms and/or programs’ activities relative to alcohol and drugs, and/or the preventionofsubstance abuse.  Work involved insupervising others.


SUBSTITUTION OFEDUCATION FOREXPERIENCE:a.Possession of amaster’s degree or successful completionof thirty (30) graduatesemester credits or its equivalentin sociology, social work, psychology, public health, or otherrelated fieldfrom an accredited university may be substituted for one (1)year of Specialized Experience.  b.Successful completionofall requirements for a Ph.D., inthe above described fields from an accredited university may be substituted for two(2) years ofSpecialized Experience requirement.
