Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm with weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Ewa Beach, Oahu

Pay

$27 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and secretarial support to the Administrator and Center Director
  • Handle accounting processing and administrative tasks for daily operations.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive environment among staff, community members, and volunteers.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the administrative team, greeting and establishing rapport with employees and clients.
  • Manage a bring-up system, providing daily updates and sending routine reminders for overdue items.
  • Coordinate MOD and Managers' Meetings responsibilities.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including preparing receipts for reimbursements and payments.
  • Develop and maintain an office procedure manual to ensure task completion.
  • Monitor rest and meal breaks according to established procedures.
  • Record and distribute minutes for assigned meetings within 3 days.
  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments for the Administrator and Center Director.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations as required.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of office equipment.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven administrative experience in a large church or corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong motivational and management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High degree of professionalism when interacting with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work with all ethnic and socio-economic populations.
  • Demonstrated good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Aptitude for learning new systems and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage time effectively.
