Clinic Assistant – Orthopedic Clinic

• Scheduling new and follow-up appointments

• Greeting patients and creating a welcoming experience

• Collecting detailed health histories

• Recording vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, temperature)

• Assisting with minor clinical tasks (e.g., removing stitches, applying bandages)

• Supporting patients during minimally invasive procedures

• Cleaning and sterilizing rooms and medical equipment

• Handling insurance communications and patient billing

• Managing inventory and ordering supplies

• Assisting with prescription refill requests

• Maintaining a clean and organized office

• Prioritizing phone messages for the physician

• Prior clinical or administrative experience in a medical setting preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented and highly organized

• Able to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor under pressure

• Comfortable handling both clinical and administrative tasks
