P.A.R.E.N.T.S., Inc. is committed to strengthening families by providing resources, skills, support, and advocacy to create a cycle of positive parenting. The Family Time Visit (FTV) Program supports safe and structured visitation to promote safe, stable, and healthy family relationships.

Position Summary

We are seeking an on-call Family Time Visitor to help ensure children’s safety and well-being during supervised visitation with parents or caregivers. This role plays a critical part in promoting safe family connections while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to agency and court guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervised visitation to ensure child safety and well-being

  • Monitor and document parent-child interactions in accordance with program policies

  • Assist with coordinating and confirming scheduled visits

  • Ensure compliance with court orders and protection orders

  • Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner

  • Adhere to all agency policies and procedures, including HIPAA and confidentiality standards

  • Represent agency leadership in a professional and respectful manner

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, families, staff, and community partners

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience working with:

    • Parents/caregivers who have harmed or threatened harm to children

    • Children who have experienced trauma, harm, or loss

Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional experience in domestic violence, substance abuse, and permanency-related cases

  • Equivalent combination of related education, experience, and/or training may be considered

Additional Requirements

 

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Hours may fluctuate based on program needs and may include travel, office, and field work

  • Must maintain appropriate levels of insurance as mandated by state law
