Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join a local healthcare organization's Human Resources department. If you have a passion for administrative support and an interest in healthcare HR, we encourage you to apply now!

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

Location

Hilo, Big Island

Pay

$23 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and take messages.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings.
  • Type up correspondences.
  • Print, collate, and organize documents.
  • File and scan documents.
  • Assist with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of previous administrative experience.
  • Previous experience in administrative healthcare or HR preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal) and strong analytical skills.
  • General knowledge of office equipment (printer, scanner, fax, etc.).
  • Ability to follow instructions and set procedures.
  • Ability to pass a State and Federal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Posses 2 step TB clearance within the past 12 months, or willing to obtain clearance.
  • Various vaccinations required.
