Full Time Position
Position Summary:
- Provides support for all areas of IT Design, operate and maintain company technology.
- Works under the direction of the Workplace Infrastructure Manager in support of hardware, databases, web resources, networks and systems.
- Provides technical support and training to company employees for proper use of technology as requested.
- Supports with setting up hardware and installing and configuring software and peripherals.
Skill & Knowledge Requirements:
- Competent working knowledge/skills with a range of software and hardware types including healthcare related.
- Training and experience in communication systems, networks, internet, intranet development, data encryption and security.
- Ability to use sound judgment in decision making and problem solving by utilizing resource materials and communication with others.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizes, and manages time efficiently.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve multiple issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, and upgrades.oBelieves in the hospice philosophy and can represent the hospice program of care accurately.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in cooperation with others.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. I.T. related certification and years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent position.
Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8am –4:30pm, with half-hour lunchbreak.
- Duties may require after hours work including weekends and holidays, as needed.
