Licensed Mental Health Professional

*This is a contracted remote role for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW...).

Applicants must be licensed (or soon to be licensed) to practice psychotherapy in the state of Hawai'i, but can be located on any of the Hawaiian Islands.

You do the therapy and we do the rest! Yes, you will need to submit billing after each session, but it's easy with our EMR system. Just a few quick clicks and our admin department will take it from there! We offer Hawai'i-licensed professionals at least a 65/35 split meaning you get 65% or more of whatever you bill! You make your own hours! You work from home (or from wherever you want)! Work as much or as little as you like, although we ask that you average at least 10 clients per week to maintain that split rate. Also, we pay weekly!

The therapist will be responsible for providing therapy sessions, creating personalized treatment plans, managing electronic case files, submitting billing through our EMR system (which we provide for you), and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Day-to-day tasks include conducting any assessments and implementing therapeutic interventions. The therapist will also maintain accurate documentation (eg. progress notes) and ensure compliance with state regulations and professional standards.

This is a contracted position (1099). You will not be micromanaged. You will be an independent contractor, so the position does not come with typical benefits like vacation pay and health insurance. BUT there are so many tax deduction opportunities when you are in private practice! You may be able to write off part of your home rent or mortgage, electric bill, cell phone bill, office supplies like computers, tablets, phones, trainings and continuing education, and even any of your own medical and mental health fees! Our administrative director can help you better understand how all that works!

Our administrative director has 25 years of experience working with Hawai'i businesses, including owning/operating multiple businesses. She has been doing bookkeeping and financial services for many companies on the islands over the years. Our clinical director has been seeing clients for over a decade, is licensed in HI as well as PA, is nationally board certified, and has specialized certifications in trauma treatment. He has experience working in domestic violence (with victims as well as with perpetrators), intensive in-home therapy, substance abuse treatment, and has been working in private practice since 2018. Qualifications

• Experience in Treatment Planning and Mental Health Therapy
• Social Work and Case Management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
• State licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW...)
• Experience working in outpatient settings is a plus
