Job Description

Join a kama'aina car dealership as a full-time Porter today! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in keeping things organized, and has a sharp eye for detail. A valid driver's license and good driver's abstract is required.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm

Location

Hilo, Big Island

Pay

$18 an hour

Responsibilities

• Transporting and picking up vehicles from designated locations.
• Fueling and arranging vehicles on the lot in an organized manner.
• Performing vehicle damage inspections, especially on pier pickup days.
• Assisting with basic car detailing, as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Copy of driver's abstract required. Must comply with no more than 3 minor driving violations in the past 3 years and no major infractions within the past 5 years.
• Previous experience in similar role is highly preferred.
• Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl through vehicles, and drive for long periods of time is required.
• Ability to lift 25-50lbs is required.
• Comfortable working is various weather conditions is required.
• Reliable, dependable, good attention to detail, ability to follow directions, communicate well and work independently or within a team is required.
