Job Description

Plan, schedule, and coordinate T&D operations work to support customer service installations while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards. Manage SAP work orders, contractor invoice processing, field inspections, and crew resource allocation to optimize productivity and budget efficiency.

Full-time, Monday - Friday; 7AM - 4PM

Pay

$26.50 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Advanced knowledge of business office administrative procedures and methods.
  • Knowledge of electrical utility or similar type industry preferred.
  • Experience with reading and understanding construction drawings and standards.
  • Knowledge of electrical drawings preferred.
  • Ability to learn applicable state and federal regulations/permits, laws, and codes.
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes, inventory control, and safety regulations.
  • Working knowledge of estimating, planning, or scheduling of construction, maintenance or operations activities.
  • General knowledge of electrical utility transmission and distributions system facilities and equipment, acceptable work practices, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience required.
  • Ability to commit to a 1 year, full-time position.
  • Must be reliable, and have dependable work history.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in estimating, planning, scheduling of construction, or maintenance operations related to utility facilities.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, etc.
  • Experience with maintenance management software preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks proactively.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of personnel (internal/external customers and suppliers), both in written and verbal communications.
  • Experience in preparing effective presentations and reports using office equipment, personal computers and related software applications.
  • Ability to remain flexible in a demanding work environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters and materials discreetly and professionally.
  • Valid State of Hawaii driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Must be able to comply with a Pre-employment Drug Screening, National Criminal Background Check and Motor Vehicle Background Check.
