A local candy company is looking for a seasonal Factory Packer to join their team! In this role, you will package cookie and chocolate products and assist with getting products ready for shipment.?

Don't have experience? That's okay! We're looking for someone who is motivated and eager to learn and has at least one month of general work experience. This is the perfect opportunity to get your labor career up and running!

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm or 2:30pm-11pm (Weekends as needed)

Location

Hilo, Big Island

Pay

$15 an hour

Responsibilities

• Apply adhesive labels to bags, boxes, and sleeves.
• Fill bags, boxes, and tins with cookies and chocolates.
• Check package weight with scale.
• Heat-seal bags and fold.
• Pack individual bags into cases.
• Operate packaging equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
• Willing to learn business standards and procedures.
• This is a peanut free facility and compliance is mandatory.
• Ability to take direction, follow instructions, and take constructive criticism.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and stand for eight hours a day.
• Must have a TB clearance.
