Meatpacking company in Hilo is seeking candidates to assist in all stages of cow, pig, and goat meat preparation.

This is a part-time position. Candidates must have previous slaughterhouse and/or hunting experience.

Hilo, Big Island

Pay

$12 an hour

Responsibilities

• Slaughter animals in accordance with company standards.
• Trim, clean, and cure meat.
• Ensure meat preparation meets all required sanitation laws.
• Follow all equipment and clothing safety measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have slaughterhouse and/or hunting experience.
• Must own rubber boots.
• Ability to follow directions well.
