Staffing Coordinator (ACE 1)#HILO_INDEEDWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staffing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of client care and field staff scheduling. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

$18 an hour
Responsibilities
- Maintain an up-to-date client roster with all required information for efficient scheduling and communication.
- Update and monitor logbooks, schedule sheets, and the internal scheduling database to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and distribute weekly field staff schedules to both caregivers and clients.
- Assist in the coordination of services for all agency clients to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Monitor and control scheduling changes, ensuring all updates are accurately communicated and documented.
- Verify visit compliance by reviewing the master schedule and reconciling service notes with billing charges; promptly report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Support intake processes by assisting with referrals and distributing necessary documentation to the Payroll/Billing Manager and on-call coordinator.
- Notify hospital Social Services departments of client admissions as required.
- Track and report weekly visit counts to the Supervising Nurse.
- Serve as a communication hub, relaying messages between field staff, office personnel, community liaisons, and the on-call coordinator.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Administration, including assisting with personnel scheduling and general office support.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification preferred, with experience in Home Care Agency services; licensure by the State of Hawaii is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in office organization, including managing files, logbooks, and staff schedules, preferably within a Home Health or Home Care Agency setting.
- Proficient in basic secretarial skills with a courteous and professional telephone manner.
- Demonstrates good physical stamina and maintains strong mental health to perform job duties effectively.
- Ability to provide pre-employment documentation including Criminal Background Check Clearance (including Fieldprint Determination results) and tuberculosis (TB) clearance, in compliance with the State of Hawaii Department of Health requirements.
