A local non-profit is seeking a Transportation Program Coordinator to join their team and help with the day-to-day duties. In this role, you will managing the complex schedule of island-wide transportation services. This role requires frequent community contact, receiving incoming calls for transportation and performing outgoing calls to organize transportation. This position requires a high degree of logistical and geographic analysis to create feasible, daily transportation schedules.
Coordinate transportation services for clients.
Assign requests for transportation specialists, ensuring efficiency and safety at all times.
Create detailed entries into database for all scheduled transportation requests.
Conduct daily courtesy transportation confirmation calls to scheduled clients.
Refer calls to appropriate individuals for program registration and information.
Heavy data entry management and documentation.
Create purchases requests for products and services necessary to maintain optimal transportation operations.
Ability to uphold strict standards of client and organizational confidentiality, honesty.
Ability to sit and work at a computer station for extended periods of time.
Associate's degree in office administration or related field, or high school diploma with four years of relevant experience.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
Current 2-step TB clearance.
Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check and drug test.
