A health facility in the Honokaa area is looking for a full-time kitchen helper to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling food trays, providing food service, and handling dishwashing duties.

Hours

Full-time, Various Shifts | Sunday to Saturday 5:00am - 1:30pm, 10:30am - 7:00pm, or 11:30am - 8:00pm, with two consecutive days off

Location

Honokaa, Big Island

Pay

$24 an hour

Responsibilities

• Assemble food trays and place them on carts.
• Assist with providing food service.
• Handle dishwashing duties including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
• Clean equipment and kitchen area.
• Unload supplies, stock, and label inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Steel-toed shoes required (reimbursement up to $50 w/receipt of purchase available).
• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of raw and processed food preparation and cooking methods required.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions to ensure food is prepared and served properly.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
• TB clearance required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check and drug test.
