Digital Marketing Intern (3 positions available)

 

Duties and responsibilities:

Marketing Interns are responsible for helping the Marketing and Creative Manager complete tasks such as preparing sales,advertising and marketing proposals, emails, inputting lead data into software and researching analytic trends to match partners with our services.

 Examples of Marketing Intern duties and responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing software and tools and methods for collecting data, inputting and tracking data such as surveys, business descriptions and services they offer.

  • Researching local public and partner opinions and marketing strategies and proposing adjustments to current strategies accordingly

  • Creating graphic representations of ads, video, green screen 

  • Preparing marketing proposals and presentations based on company needs

  • Measuring partner satisfaction with products or services

  • Monitoring and managing the company's social media platforms, adjusting outreach tactics as needed

  • Creating article and content, blogs, monitoring subscriptions, follows and likes

  • Paperwork and office organization

  • Learning all areas of digital business from sales, to editing, to hands on in the community, creation of al materials involved.


What does a Digital Marketing Intern do?:

A Marketing Intern will assist with all stages of marketing campaigns, including drafting proposals, preparing presentations and researching consumer trends to identify marketing needs. Marketing Interns can work in a wide variety of industries that have marketing departments. Marketing Interns provide their teams with needed support developing, expanding and maintaining marketing channels and social media outlets.

 

Marketing Intern skills and qualifications:

A successful Marketing Intern needs various skills and qualifications to perform the required duties of their role. Essential skills for this position include the following:

  • Creative ideas and strategies, including continuing education of new marketing tactics and tools

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work on a computer in software as trained

  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software- google, hubspot, monday.com and more. 

  • Aptitude with various social media platforms as well as the data tracking tools associated with them

  • Familiarity with our Island’s businesses and consumer buying habits

  • Ability to quickly learn and process information

  • Organization and time management skills


 

Marketing Intern salary expectations

A Marketing Intern makes an average of $14.00 per hour. 

 

Marketing Intern experience requirements

Gain most of their experience while completing internship.They should have experience in researching market conditions for applicable regions of anticipated sales on a local, regional or national scale. 

 

There is flexibility to work both from home and from our office in Hilo.
