Job Description

MISSION

The Hawaii Green Infrastructure Authority ("HGIA") was the result of Act 211, 2013 Session Laws of Hawaii, which created the framework for establishing a State administered clean energy financing Authority.  HGIA's objective is to make clean energy investments accessible and affordable to Hawaii's underserved ratepayers, defined as low and moderate-income homeowners, renters, nonprofits, small businesses and multi-family rental projects.

 

JOB SUMMARY/PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Clean Energy Finance Intern shall assist with the underwriting and analysis of clean energy applications utilizing HGIA's innovative on-bill financing program;
  • The Clean Energy Finance Intern shall assist with the implementation of HGIA's online loan portal and database (Salesforce);
  • The Clean Energy Finance Intern shall assist with the implementatoin of HGIA's commercial servicing project.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
