Job Description

 

The Community Engagement Coordinator will work directly with the Executive Director and Volunteer Coordinator to collaborate on strategizing, planning and implementing Kanu Hawai’i programs including Pledge To Our Keiki and Kokua Exchange. This role will also require building relationships with volunteers and other community-based organizations or stakeholders to improve project management and execution through outreach support.

 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Identify trends and gaps within Kanu Hawai’i programs and work with a team to implement strategies and improvements.

  • Identify priorities and opportunities to connect Kanu Hawai’i to the community to build and retain relationships that promote social welfare through collaboration and action.

  • Engage with volunteers, organizations, and community through outreach support including communications, meetings, and surveys.

  • Assist with organization communications through marketing and social media management.

    Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • At least two years of related experience required.
