Adult Mental Health Division (AMHD) Performance Management Specialist

$52,956 - $62,004 yearly, salary commensurate w/ training and experience


Exempt, Temporary, Non-civil service appointment.  The primary purpose of the position is to monitor the Quality Management (QM) plans of Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) and Purchase of Service (POS) programs by reviewing relevant program policies and procedures, minutes of QM and records review committees, management reports, consumer records, and other administrative QM documents as necessary.  Also, this position is responsible for ensuring the timely processing, documenting and reporting of all QM reviews, reports, recommendations, and appeals as required by the AMHD QM Program policies and procedures.


Minimum Qualifications


EDUCATION:  Successful completion of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other related social science from an accredited college or university.


EXPERIENCE:  A minimum of three (3) years in a psychiatric setting and/or case management or QM experience.


LICENSE:  This position must be licensed in accordance with the Hawaii Revised Statutes as applicable to the discipline of the incumbent.  Valid Type 3 Driver’s License.
