Job Description

Hawaii’s largest locally owned insurance agency is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its Personal Lines team!  

 

The Account Manager – PL is responsible for delivering service to existing policyholders, providing support to sales staff, and generating new business.  Required to sell and underwrite new and renewal personal lines house accounts in accordance with carrier policies and procedures.  Handles incoming requests and inquiries by telephone or mail-ins within authority level.  Provides support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing accounts.  Performs all duties under minimal supervision.

 

 

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; college degree preferred.  3 to 5 years related experience and/or training required.  Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.  Must be a team player with excellent organization and communication skills.  Proficiency in Windows based applications required.  

 

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Property & Casualty Solicitors License required.  CPCU, CIC or other Property/Casualty designations preferred.  Valid Hawaii Driver’s License and use of own vehicle preferred.
