Job Description

Seeking an Accountant for a full-time opening with a property management company in Honolulu. As the Accountant for this business, you will be responsible for handling accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and generating accurate and timely financial statements. 


The ideal candidate will have previous accounting experience in a fast-paced environment, as well as working knowledge using Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and Yardi. 


Additiona​l Responsibilities:


  • Handle A/R and A/P.
  • Process certified payroll. 
  • Prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Generate financial statements, schedules, and reports.
  • Create annual budget worksheets.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned. 


Required Education and Qualifications:


  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Previous accounting experience in a fast-paced environment with working knowledge of GAAP.
  • Advanced knowledge of using Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Yardi.
  • Effective multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to use 10-key by touch.
