The Asia Services Manager assists Asian guests with their inquiries, issues or complaints. The Asia Guest Services Manager also interfaces with Japanese Agencies to assist with their inquiries and site visits. Overall this position plays a critical role within the Front Office department and Sales department.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assist hotel employees with Japanese translations.
  • Be the hotel face in interaction with Asian guest issues, queries and complaints, including where necessary: determining compensation and communication with business source.
  • Serve as a Lobby Concierge. Monitor the flow of guest within the lobby. Assist all guests with any questions they may have.
  • During long lines at the Front Desk, be present talking with the guest to assist in anyway of speeding up their check in or pulling guests out of line who just have questions.
  • Serve as liaison between Room Reservation, Front Desk and Corporate Sales.
  • Arrange sale calls to Japan Agencies to meet with the Agency’s Operations Staff to explain the hotel’s services and conduct room sites.
  • Assist with shift coverage of the Guest Service Manager position.

Qualified Candidates Must Possess:

  • Ability to read, write and speak fluently in both English and Japanese
  • Able to work flexible hours
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in T.I.M, Marketing or International Business preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in hotel operations
