Assistant Animal Care Manager

- Maintain accurate records of animal care, medications, and treatments
- Participate in animal intake, assessment, and adoption processes
- Contribute to the development of enrichment programs for shelter animals
- Assist in managing inventory of supplies and equipment

- Ensure compliance with all relevant animal welfare laws and regulations

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in animal care, preferably in a shelter environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in computer applications, including shelter management software
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed
- Certification in animal care or related field preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
