Job Description
Assistant Cook Position for Mary, Star of the Sea Early Learning Center
Responsibilities:
- Help the cook prep as needed
- Knife Skills
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, includes washing dishes, mopping the floor, taking out trash
- Able to follow directions and take initiative
Preferences:
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen or school kitchen setting
Requirements:
- Reliable and dependable
- Time management skills
- Able to read and write English
- Able to life and carry up to 40 pounds
- Background and Health Clearance with a negative TB test
- Team Player
- Hawaii Food Handler Certification current or must be completed after 1 month of employment and kept up to date
Hours: (5:00am – 1:00pm)
