Assistant Cook Position for Mary, Star of the Sea Early Learning Center

Responsibilities:

• Help the cook prep as needed
• Knife Skills
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, includes washing dishes, mopping the floor, taking out trash
• Able to follow directions and take initiative

Preferences:

• Experience working in a commercial kitchen or school kitchen setting

Requirements:

• Reliable and dependable
• Time management skills
• Able to read and write English
• Able to life and carry up to 40 pounds
• Background and Health Clearance with a negative TB test
• Team Player
• Hawaii Food Handler Certification current or must be completed after 1 month of employment and kept up to date

Hours: (5:00am – 1:00pm)
