Job Description

HT&T Truck Center is Hawai'i's largest full-service dealership for heavy and medium-duty trucks, and the sole Hawai'i  authorized dealer for the Peterbilt, Isuzu, and McNeilus brands. For over 60 years, HT&T's mission has been to assist customers in becoming successful in their unique transportation needs. We provide customized service for truck purchases, parts, service, and maintenance. We are currently looking for an Outside Parts Salesperson to join our ohana.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Responsible for adhering to all safety practices and procedures while performing tasks in all work areas.
• Responsible for receiving shipments, retrieving packing slips, and receiving parts into inventory.
• Responsible for shipping and forwarding.
• Assist delivery driver using company pick-up truck to deliver and pick up parts as needed.
• Responsible for placing part orders from vendors.
• Responsible for inventory management and control.
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse neat and orderly.
• Answer phones and assist walk-in customers as needed.
• Assist Sales Persons as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum one year experience in administrative and customer service experience.

• Parts knowledge desirable

• High school diploma or equivalent. College work or degree desirable.

• Forklift certification desirable. Will train if not certified.

• Valid State of Hawaii Driver’s License required.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrated computer aptitude and the ability to operate various office machines such as PC, copier, fax, typewriter, calculator, etc.

• Excellent customer service, written & verbal communication skills.
