Job Description
Looking for a on-call (8-16 hours a week) bartender to join our team here at SERA honolulu!
Job Duties:
- Mix cocktails, pour beers, and serve wines according to receipes and service standards.
- Accurately take food and drink orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Promptly and professionally serve food and beverages to tables.
- Clear tables between courses, replenish water glasses, and reset settings.
- Relay orders and special dietary needs to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the dining area and service areas.
- Collaborate with other servers, kitchen staff, and hosts to ensure efficient service.
- Perform all other job related duties as assigned
Communication Demands:
- Ability to speak, read and write proficiently in the English language.
Working Conditions:
- Food and Beverage outlets.
- Kitchen noises; people talking in a loud voice; pots, pans, cleaning equipment operating.
Other Duties:
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the dining room and host stand
Mental and Physical Demands:
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to manage stressful and challenging situations.
- Ability to stand and walk in food and beverage outlets.
- Lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Department of Health TB clearance.
- Previously related work experience is preferred.
- Yellow Bartender Liquor Card
