Job Description

A well-known nonprofit organization is looking for a full-time Bookkeeper/ Administrative Assistant to join their team and their mission in making a positive difference in people's lives. Additi​onal Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage duties related to bookkeeping and accounts tracking such as accounts payable/ receivable, daily canister entries and fixed assets
  • Oversee all purchase order requests including check preparations
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll
  • Record and track all gift card and in-kind donations
  • Maintain and troubleshoot office equipment such as database software, printers, fax and copy machine, etc. 
  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls, handling incoming/ outgoing mail, direct visitors, order office supplies, schedule meetings, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

 

Required Education and Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business administration, or other related fields
  • Minimum 3 years experience in bookkeeping/ finance and administrative management
  • High computer literacy and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Great attention to detail 
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving abstract 
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
