As Branch Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding our storied Bay Area business to a new location in Hawaii. The Branch Manager will help build and then lead our team to grow the business in this competitive market including introducing and representing the brand, integrating into the local community, and developing the customer base. Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the President, the Branch Manager is responsible for efficient and profitable branch operations. The Branch Manager will work closely with the Sales Leader to drive revenue, while managing branch personnel and processes to produce positive results.

  • Accountability for branch revenues including direct relationship selling, staff leadership, and proactively promoting The Urban Farmer Store and the new Hawaii operations
  • Execute on the leadership strategy and differentiation points to develop a broad customer base and resilient operation
  • Manage, mentor, and develop branch staff to meet the company’s high standards for service and product knowledge while cultivating The Urban Farmer Store culture
  • Lead branch staff and collaborate with Sales Leader and senior management to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Master all branch processes and champion high-performance distribution to drive efficient workflows and enable real-time visibility into all branch transaction activity
  • Monitor and manage inventory daily to ensure accuracy, maximize fill rate, and optimize merchandising
  • Represent the company and build positive relationships with community partners and associations
  • Maintain branch environment to enhance the customer experience and promote a safe and healthy work environment
  • Update and maintain enterprise software and CRM database including data discovery for sales initiatives

Your Background & Capabilities

  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing teams in a retail/wholesale distribution and sales environment
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams for peak performance
  • Well-developed communication and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, senior management, and fellow staff members
  • Highly collaborative and passionate about quality, performance, and scalability
  • Drive and a sense of urgency to seize opportunities
  • Results oriented with a direct and professional approach
  • Computer savvy and proficient with a variety of software packages including Excel, Word, and enterprise software
  • Knowledge of irrigation and lighting industry products and their application preferred
  • Proficiency in Ilocano, Mandarin, or Spanish a plus
  • Forklift certification is a plus
  • Post-high school education a plus, with bachelor’s degree preferred

Hours of Operation at this Location 

    Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm

    Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
